Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is an under construction greenfield international airport being built at UlweKopar-Panvel in Maharashtra, India. It will be the second international airport for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, functioning as India's first urban multi-airport system. This project has given the boost to Navi Mumbai realty as newer project are coming up in locations like Panvel, Ulwe, Dronagiri and Uran.

JNPT - Jawaharlal Nehru Port [JNPT], also known as Nhava Sheva Port, is the largest container port in India, handling around 55% of the country’s containerized cargo, located east of Mumbai in Raigad district, this port on the Arabian Sea is accessed via Thane Creek.[6] . The Great Mumbai Trans Harbour Link also known as the Sewri Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, is an under-construction 21.8 kilometres (13.5 mi), freeway grade road bridge connecting the Indian city of Mumbai with Navi Mumbai . Virar-Alibaug Corridor Project is a project undertaken by the MMRDA. It is expected to provide seamless connectivity by the metro as well as by road from Alibaug to Virar. The corridor will bypass the western and eastern suburbs and also the routes which will witness growth in the future. The proposed alignment will connect four crucial national highways, NH8 (Mumbai-Ahmedabad), NH3 (Mumbai-Agra-Delhi), NH4 (Mumbai-Chennai) and NH17 (Goa-Mangalore-Kerala). The MMRDA has claimed that the 140-km corridor will reduce the long commute to barely an hour. Phase-I of the corridor will be of 90 km from Virar to Panvel. Phase-II will be of 50 km from Panvel to Alibaug. This planned development of infrastructure makes the adjacent locations a realty hotspot.

CIDCO has approved second coastal road in the region to connect Kharghar with Belapur, providing easy access to the proposed international airport in the city.The MTHL-Panvel Coastal Road, the first stretch, will include construction of three flyovers at nodal road junctions, two bridges and one rail overbridge. This route will provide connectivity with the upcoming Navi Mumbai international airport over the Seawood-Uran railway line and the Amra Marg.The second route will be a 9.5-km road connecting Kharghar, Amra Marg and the water terminal at Nerul. The coastal road will boost the realty prices in Navi Mumbai, particularly in Ulwe, Kharghar and Belapur.
